Nourish your Soul and Carve a Wonderful life for yourself || Yoga of Immortals || Ishan Shivanand
The true nature and essence of our soul is pure bliss. We have been born on this planet to experience this world through the human body. The soul is timeless and ageless. But we often tend to forget this and get disconnected with the ultimate Source – our own self. We get entangled in the hustle-bustle of life and filled with negative emotions such as resentment, greed, anger, feat, sorrow, ego and false pride. Our chain of thoughts becomes complicated and we start feeling low. This takes a toll on our #physical and #mental health. It is exhausting and discouraging. When life gets tough, we need to find a silver lining in the cloud. We need that ray of hope and sunshine that things will get better. Our soul needs to be nourished and rejuvenated.
When things appear bleak, you need to enlighten yourself and keep up with the true nature of your soul, that is to experience #happiness, here are few things you can do:
𝙋𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙣𝙤𝙬: Problems will not go overnight but this phase shall definitely pass. Imagine a brighter day and time when you will do things you love with those you love. It will lift your #spirit and #calm you down.
𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙖 𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛: Declutter your home, office and workspace. Decorate, ventilate and beautify it with positive things such as plants and elements of nature such as #water, #sunshine etc. This will help you relax and let your soul catch up.
𝘼𝙫𝙤𝙞𝙙 𝙩𝙤𝙭𝙞𝙘 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙙𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨: Try to stay away from negative conversations, gossip and pessimistic views. Avoiding the news or limiting it to bare minimum is helpful. Be mindful of what information you are allowing to enter your #mind and the effect it has on you.
𝘾𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙨𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨: Rejoicing in small wins will lift your spirits. It will train your mind to aim higher and prepare to achieve bigger #goals.
𝙎𝙚𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙨: Set your limits according to your physical and mental capacity. Do not overload yourself as goals are harder to attain with wearied #spirits.
𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙮: Do something nice for someone. Care for the needy. Serve the underprivileged selflessly. Doing something nice for someone unconditionally is the true nature of the soul and will #nourish it.
𝙍𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙡𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙮: Our biological clock is attuned to waking up at dawn and sleeping early at night. Do not push these timings as they will wreak havoc with your natural system. You will be able to achieve more in the day if you rise early and do every task slowly and #mindfully.
𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨: Perfectionism is boring and makes you lonely. Accept and enjoy the imperfections of people, events and daily happenings. This will lift keep your spirits up. Acceptance is the true #nature of the #soul.
𝘽𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛: You must have firm belief in yourself, your values and potential. Believe in your innate #goodness and positivity to nurture a #positive #mindset. Do not let complaints or criticism bog you down.
𝙂𝙤 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝𝙮 𝙨𝙥𝙡𝙪𝙧𝙜𝙚: Cleanse your mind of unhealthy and negative thoughts and emotions. Declutter your wardrobe. Go for a nutritious detox diet. Exercise hard and regularly. Practice Yoga and Meditation. Avoid vices such as alcohol, drugs, smoking and non-vegetarian food as much as possible. All these things will purify your soul.
𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙙𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜: Breathing is an art that detoxifies your body and mind completely. Conscious breathing makes you relaxed and more in control of your mind. It empowers you to make better decisions and think with clarity.
Adopting these habits will nurture the soul and make you more equipped to handle the pressures of life. It is essential to keep the soul as pure as possible to become a person of immense capabilities, worth and potential.
